Thoughts

With me being a teenage boy in high school, there are a very limited number of thoughts that go through my head everyday. It's just easier to turn off your brain in the easier classes and make it seem like you're paying it attention but have absolutely no motivation to give a hint of effort in these classes, to talk to other people at school you might not want to, or to get to your classes on time.

Some of the thoughts I have going through my head are:

"When will this class be over?"

"Aww dang, she is attractive..."

"I wonder what we are doing for soccer today. Hopefully not conditioning.."

"Finally someone text me."

"Should I fall asleep in this class or not?"

That is only some of the thoughts I have during an average day at school. Completely mindless thoughts that a four year old could easily "up".

Social Norms

Why do we even have social norms? I understand WHY we have them but I don't understand why we follow them. It might be that its just the way I see it but I don't get why we have to be normal. We are all here to be born and work to be anything but normal. So why do we always talk about breaking away and living our lives the way others expect us to live it and NOT the way we want to live it. If you want to be a certain something for your career, why not just BE what you want want to be? People nowadays are always trying to look at themselves from the outside in and correct themselves to be more socially "normal". If you just act YOURSELF, you will have so much more fun living your life here on Earth. So to finish this off, add all the bolds together and follow those words of advice from you to me.

FEAR

Fear is very similar to love in the way that I see it. It can change the way you act around people and it can change your emotions in an instance. It can make you run away and want to hide but so curious that you want to peek your head out and see what its all about. But it might be right there waiting for you, waiting for the perfect moment to attack.

Fear, it can drive man it the hardest of struggles. Whether you are worried about defending your nation from the loss of freedom or something as small as just the fear of your grade depending on this one test. Fear can change the whole game. The fear of it being your last high school game ever, you are down by a touchdown, with 10 seconds left. Fear changes the way you look at situations.

Crazy in Love or Love is Crazy?

The definition of LOVE. Love is Crazy. Because you can be Crazy in Love. Even to this day nobody has been able to come up with a real, strong, and appropriate definition for love. It can make you act like a love drunk maniac, it can make you act like you normally wouldn't, and it can make you feel like you've never felt before. They say love is blind. But at the same time its not because you see what you want out of love, yet it seems so far that you can't reach it.

The Wonderful Story of Humans

Whether you believe that humans came from the fall of Adam & Eve or from the evolution of apes, it doesn't matter. Humans are what they are because of how special, different, and amazing they are. They can do so many different amazing things. We are built to be a lasting supreme society that will live on this earth. When times are tough, we work together. And i think that is one of the greatest things humans can do. When everybody is struggling, but they get together and unite for a single cause to help bring peace back to their cause, is just amazing. For example with 9/11 approaching, it reminds me of one the most devastating times America has ever had. But it also reminds of the amazing heart, love, and unity that you could feel all the way across the country in Utah, California, Nevada, etc. Just knowing that we were all in on it together to make America a much more happy and pleasant place after such a tragedy. You could just feel the heartbreak in the air after 9/11. But we helped get through the challenging times together and that is one of of my favorite things about humans.

The world is turning everything towards your "i", no not your eye, but your iPhone, iPod, & iPad. Even including me i have started to see things with my "i" rather than my eye. I want to start seeing the world in a different way than the "i" way. This is how I plan on doing it.
